The Level 2 Program is only available to candidates who have completed all courses in the CICA Corporate Finance – Level 1 Program.
The Level 2 Program builds on the concepts learned in Level 1. It delivers practical knowledge of corporate finance transactions in a number of key areas recognized by the industry. In this Program, you will hone your skills to the highest levels of deal management. And, you’ll achieve an understanding of how to integrate an organization’s mission and strategic financial objectives into a value-creating corporate finance strategy.
There are four modules in the Level 2 Program:
- Changes in Control & Restructuring
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Advanced Debt & Equity Issues
- Strategic Financial Management
Using case studies that immerse you in real-life simulations, you’ll be asked to assess problems, challenges and opportunities, identify and analyze the relevant issues, develop alternative strategies before preparing your presentation and then defending your position before the toughest audience: your peers and faculty members. Some pre-course preparation will be required.

Prerequisite:
Completion of all of the CICA Corporate Finance – Level 1 Program courses, or advanced standing from an accredited University program, is required before you can register for the CICA Corporate Finance – Level 2 Program.
